A Conversation with Carla Power & Ani Zonneveld

MPV's founder and president Ani Zonneveld will be in conversation with two-time Pulitzer finalist author, Carla Power, on her latest book "The Lady Imam: How Amina Wadud's Life and Faith Changed the World”, a timely and soul-stirring biography of one of the most influential Islamic woman scholars of today, from the two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist author of If the Oceans Were Ink and Home, Land, Security.

If you've read Ani's book "An Unlikely Social Justice Warrior: Making my life count as a Muslim feminist" you’ll have read about the way amina wadud's co-ed congregational Friday prayer in 2005 impacted her work and the birth of MPV.
