MPV Boston Chapter - Community Watch Party

Join MPV Boston for our June community watch party! We will be screening Joyland (2022) in honor of Pride Month. All are welcome!

Joyland made history as the first Pakistani film shortlisted for the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film. Centering a transgender character and created by Pakistani filmmakers, it’s a wonderful example of LGBTQ+ stories being told from within Muslim communities themselves.

Following the film, we will gather for conversation and community. Come watch, reflect, and connect with us! Light refreshments will be provided!
