Farah Merani

Farah Merani is a Canadian Muslim actor, writer, and producer currently based between LA and Toronto. She holds an MA from Central Saint Martin’s College and graduated from the Drama Centre London. She has performed in Canada and the US, throughout Europe and in Russia. Some of her TV and film credits include: Recurring roles on the new Quantum Leap on NBC and AppleTV’s SEE with Jason Momoa, along with appearances on Shadowhunters, Station 19.

In addition to being an actor, she has produced dozens of films with her company, Lifeguard Productions, co-founded a non-profit called Women on Screen, and serves as a diversity and inclusion consultant for film and tv with her former co-chair of the ACTRA Toronto Diversity Committee. Presently, she is developing two limited series including Four Frames as a 2023 Fellow of the Sundance Episodic Lab. As well as, she is writing a children’s book and soon to be animated television show. Farah is represented by The Characters Agency and David Shapira and Associates for theatrical and managed by World Builder Entertainment.
